Vital People are one of the most successful independently owned recruitment service providers in the North West. We deal in all sectors of recruitment, flexible labour supply and payroll support services. We do business with some of the most recognisable businesses in the North West and we have an ambitious plan for further growth in 2017 & beyond.
To support this growth plan we are currently looking to recruit several “stars of the future” to join our team as academy trainees with immediate starts.
The recruitment sector offers a combination of dynamic business environment, personal development, people interaction, great career prospects and high earning potential. The most successful people in the Recruitment Industry started from the bottom up, with no experience of the job or the sector and from all types of personal background. There are no barriers to success and there is no glass ceiling. Successful applicants for these roles will join the business as a trainee and for the first 3 months of your career with us you will be enter an academy style environment, learning and being tested in different sectors of the business and in different disciplines including:
- Business Administration
- Talent Resourcing
- Customer Service
- Service Delivery and Candidate Management
- Account Management
- Revenue Maximisation
- Sales and Business Development
After the first 3 months we will assess the skillsets for which you have shown the most aptitude, and you will then be placed into a role that best reflects those skills. For the next 3 months of your career with us, you will be assigned to an experienced mentor and assessed against a set of pre-agreed targets.
If you are successful during this phase of the academy, you will then be offered a permanent role in your chosen discipline and receive a salary & benefits package that are commensurate with that role.

Candidates must be:
- A people person with a demonstrable interest in the recruitment and HR sectors
- Presentable as this is a customer facing business
- Willing to learn new skills

Successful candidates at first stage, will be employed full time and paid National Minimum Wage during the training academy stages of their employment. Upon successful completion of training stages, you will be offered a permanent role with a starting salary of between £17,000 and £20,000 (depending on job description) plus bonuses and benefits. We expect our most successful candidates will earn OTE of £25k in the first full year of their career with us.
